Postpartum & Newborn care

Consists of:

• Home visit upon hospital or birth center discharge

• Routine postpartum visits at our clinic every 1-3 weeks (up to 2 weeks for newborns, 10 weeks for parent)

• Feeding & lactation support

• Laceration/C-Section wound healing assessment

• Newborn jaundice and weight checks

• Labs as needed

• Mental health ongoing assessment 

• 24/7 access to on-call midwife

• Final postpartum visit that includes pelvic floor health assessment, chest exam, PAP smear if needed, contraception and family planning counseling

• Referrals and transfer of care for additional support or if no longer low-risk

Cost:

• $1,000-$1,200 for both parent & newborn
