Rae Pittenger Jimenez, LM CPM FMP (she/they/ella) is a graduate of MEAC-accredited Bastyr University’s Midwifery program where she obtained her master’s degree of science in midwifery and completed her thesis in prenatal models of care. They are a certified professional midwife under the National Association of Registered Midwives (NARM), and is licensed by the Department of Health in Washington state to practice midwifery. Additionally, Rae is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and member of the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Rae is an active member of the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives (NACPM), the Midwives Association of Washington State (MAWS), and engages in peer review, continuing education, and state legislative lobbying.
Her clinical experience includes over 5 years of prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn healthcare in a variety of settings, namely freestanding birth centers and in families’ homes. She has attended several hundred births, mainly in the role of midwife but also as a birth assistant and doula.
